About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Information System Manager to oversee our entire suite of Information Systems. This role involves working closely with all departments to manage tools, provide support, and develop innovative capabilities. You will also oversee the integration of systems, manage the IS budget, and handle procurement processes.
This is a standalone role ("one-man-show"), reporting to COO, requiring collaboration with external consultants and stakeholders across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute the company’s Information Systems strategy to align with business goals.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
System Management and Development:
- Oversee and maintain existing systems (Salesforce, NetSuite, etc.) for optimal performance.
- Lead integration efforts to ensure seamless connectivity between systems.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement new tools and capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
- Support and Collaboration:
- Act as the primary point of contact for Information Systems-related queries and provide direct support to internal users.
- Work closely with department heads to understand requirements and ensure systems meet operational needs.
Budget and Vendor Management:
- Manage the Information Systems budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
- Lead procurement processes for new tools, services, and upgrades while managing vendor relationships.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience managing information systems in a fast-paced environment
- Strong expertise with Salesforce and NetSuite is a must
- Proven ability to integrate, maintain, and optimize multiple systems.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud-based solutions.
- Hands-on experience managing IS budgets and vendor negotiations.
- Excellent communication skills and a business-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working independently as a "one-person show" role.
- Familiarity with managing external consultants and third-party services.
