What you'll do:
The VP is a key member of the executive team, responsible for leading the company’s financial strategy, operations, and compliance. This role includes working very closely with the CEO of the company ,ownership of budgeting, cash flow management, fundraising, financial reporting, pricing, and investor relations. The vp supports the company’s growth both strategically and operationally, across local and global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Financial Leadership
Lead the company’s financial strategy in alignment with its business strategy and executive decisions
Develop financial forecasts, conduct in-depth economic analyses, and advise management on key business decisions
Oversee and participate in fundraising activities (Seed, Series A and beyond), including investor materials, modeling, and due diligence
Provide ongoing reporting and insights to the CEO, board of directors, and investors
Budgeting, Cash Flow & Controls
Build and manage the annual budget and monitor performance vs. plan
Own the cash flow management process, including forecasting and operational liquidity
Implement financial controls and risk management procedures
Collections Management
Lead and oversee collections processes in Israel and the U.S., ensuring timely invoicing, follow-up, and cash collection
Define and implement standardized processes and policies to improve collection efficiency and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
Collaborate with sales, legal, and customer success teams to resolve payment issues and manage
Pricing & Business Analysis
Lead pricing strategies for products and services, focusing on margin optimization
Conduct profitability and feasibility analyses for deals, markets, and product initiatives
Sales Support & Commercial Oversight
Work closely with the sales team to optimize deal structures, pricing models, and terms
Monitor commercial KPIs and support strategic sales initiatives
Operations, Compliance & Reporting
Manage relationships with local and international banks, including credit lines, accounts, and financing
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
Supervise payments, contracts, and legal-financial workflowsLead the preparation of periodic and ad hoc financial reports
Team Management
Build, manage, and mentor the finance team, including accounting, billing, AP/AR, and FP&A
Establish scalable processes to support company growth and internal reporting
Requirements:
Proven experience as VP Finance in a Global SAAS B2B startup – mandatory
Hands-on experience with fundraising, investor relations, budgeting, cash flow, and collections
Prior involvement in pricing, business modeling, and commercial decision-making
Proven ability to support and collaborate with sales teams
Mandatory experience working with Salesforce, NetSuite, and Power BIStrong analytical and modeling skills; ability to translate numbers into insights
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business – required; CPA – strong advantage
Fluency in English, both written and verbal
